| I fish the Catawba River,
Lake Wateree, Wateree River, Congaree River, and the Santee River Systems. This covers Lake
Wylie to Lake Marion, and Lake Moultrie (better
known as Santee-Cooper) in South Carolina. This includes Lake Wylie,
Lake Wateree, Lake Marion, and
Lake Moultrie. The rivers connecting these lakes hold some of the best fishing in the
world. Not everybody knows how to navigate
these rivers because of the rocks and fast water. I have been running these rivers by boat
since age 14. It takes a lot of skill, time, and patience to run these rivers
successfully. As a result, these rivers don't get fished hard. I also have
experience on nine rivers in Colorado and five rivers in Arkansas.

Conditions are always changing, so we like
to custom design your trip to bring you the best outdoor experience. Once
reservations are made and your binder has been received, Captain Darryl will
provide a "Details Checklist". The checklist contains the following information:
- Area Lodging
- Area Restaurants
- Area Entertainment
- Fishing/hunting license requirements
- A map detailing where to meet
- When to meet
- Any additional items you may need to bring

- Change of clothing to leave at the vehicle
- Rain suit or poncho
- Cold weather clothes during winter
- Hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (Please
do not bring continuous spray sunblocks. The wind blows it all over the
boat and into my bait tank, contaminating my bait.)
- Food and drink for the day, because we will be too far
away from any stores
- You need to bring a 150 quart cooler
(or enough coolers to equal 150 quarts to transport your fish).

- Catfishing: I will supply
boat (if used), boating equipment, rod, and reel, bait,
tackle, and a cooler for fish while on the boat.
- Fly-fishing: I supply boat
(if
used), boating equipment, fly rod and reel (unless you want to use your
own), and limited flies.
- Striper fishing: You can
striper fish with fly rod or conventional tackle. I supply boat, boating equipment, rod
and reel, limited tackle, and coolers for fish.

offer casting lessons for $100.00 an hour if needed.)
