The Carolinas are blessed with rich natural beauty and great fishing for a lot of really
big fish. Our terrain ranges from mountains towering over 6000 feet to pristine beaches on
the coastline. If you like the outdoors; here, you'll be in heaven!
We fish Lake Marion,
Lake Moultrie, Congaree River, Wateree River, and the Santee River here
in South Carolina. These waters Are better known as the Santee Cooper
Lakes! Known world-wide for their large and hard fighting fish. Here we
fish for
Stripers,
and
Big
Catfish
. As the fish migrate upstream in the
spring, we fallow them fishing the upper end of Lake Marion and the
rivers. Here is where we have broken
17 World Records with 6 of them still
pending. Nine or our records are with kids
under the ages of 16 with most under the age of 10 years old.
Here on the waters of
the Santee Cooper Lakes we offer Trophy fishing trips as well as family
trip and
fun for all ages. We catch big fish throughout the year. Offering
monster catfish from
January-December with a
100 POUNDS OF CATFISH A DAY GUARANTEE.
Also from September until January we offer a
half-day of catfishing
combined with a half-day of Bream
fishing. On these
trips we catch an average of 15 catfish with
some days over 250
bream as well. These are great family trips.
At Santee Cooper Lakes
our fish are highly abundant because of our weather. Our waters do not
freeze in the winter. This means that our fish stay active through out
the year. In 2003 we boated over 43, 250+ lbs.
In 2004 we boated over 42,580+ lbs. So far in 2005 we have boated over
39,750+ lbs. To catch fish like this it takes year round fishing.
I’ve been blessed in my
adventures. I helped get 17 world record fish in my boat, plus a lot of
exceptionally big fish. Blue catfish 100.5 lbs, Flathead Catfish 90 lbs,
crappie 3 lbs 8 oz, largemouth bass 12 lbs 6 oz, striper 29 lbs 7 oz,
and bluegill 4 lb 75 oz.
These guide services I
offer to anyone who wants to fish. This guide won’t promise the biggest
fish in the world, but I'll try my best to get you jerked out of the
boat by a big fish! I will use my 36 years
fishing
experience
to try and get you what
you want.
My fishing is with
conventional tackle. For Big Catfish it takes heavy equipment. With my
guide services I provide boat, boating equipment, rods, reels, tackle,
and bait. I will have a cooler on the boat for your fish. All you need
is a SC Fishing License, and what ever you wish to eat and drink.
